Thanks for the offer, but the problem with the server is the source code browser, it's using too much memory since I switched to bazaar, I'm looking into what I can do to fix it.

Interesting. Any particular reason for switching from svn to bazaar?

It seems that trac changeset view has some issues with the integration: https://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/chang...re/libunrar.py <-- causes an exception.

Three reasons:
1) I'm going to have to be doing a lot of offline developing in the near future, so a distributed VCS is a good idea 2) A distributed VCS makes encouraging third party development a little easier 3) bazaar is written in python, which means I can easily hack it to suit my needs. And I expect it to eventually be more feature rich than VCS systems written in C |

What! libprs500 has been renamed? But I have gotten used to that name. After misspelling it countless times I finally got it right. It looked so impressive sitting on my desktop. So intelligent, so mystifying. Folks would see it sitting there and think me a computer guru.
And alas, what is worse is “Calibre.” It looks like caliber misspelled. Or folks perhaps think I’m English and spell caliber calibre. Somehow I will struggle through. I will rename the shortcut on my desktop to something strange and exotic. Perhaps “Caliban?” What do you think? Kidding aside, libprs500 by any other name will be as sweet. A great program gets better. Thanks, Kovid. |

The server problems should be fixed (I've disabled the source code browsing until the trac bzr plugin matures a little, you can see the source code here http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kovid/calibre/trunk/files)

Kovid - will my caliber software get automatically updated from time to time after you make your upgrades? I am using Ubuntu Linux 8.04 [Hardy Heron].

there's no need to uninstall on linux, but if you want to
EDIT: Slightly improved uninstall recipe (nneds to be run in a root shell) Code:
locate libprs500|grep -v ^/home|xargs rm -i Last edited by kovidgoyal; 05-05-2008 at 01:35 PM. |
