Got it from SonyStyle online. Going home at lunch to charge it. Testing tonight! I may have a 650 for sale soon.

I think you'll like it. I don't have a 650 so the screen was a nice change. But I'm keeping my Sony 350 for carrying around with me. Still like reading on it.

@lightforx I preordered it so it shipped on Oct. 3 arrived Oct.5. Didn't choose special shipping at all. I don't live too far from Memphis though so it basically went from La Grange, IL to Chicago and flew to Memphis then to a town near me by truck and delivered today. Very speedy.

one strange thing though (a bit off topic). i have another fedex package that went from bend, OR and now in transit in memphis,TN when i'm in CA. it's a bit weird how fedex works....

Yes, that is the way FedEx works. Everything is flown to Memphis for sorting then out to distribution points.

My RED one shipped today (Oct 5). FedEx said delivery should be Oct 6. This is great. The red ones were not to ship till Oct 16. I got the black cover w/light on Oct 4.

I'm also thinking of buying one. Wonder if the "no entry found" problem still exists when looking up some words (like plural forms) from the dictionary?

Yes, this still happens. But when it happens it lets you press an icon to "edit" your last word lookup, and as you backspace, it does a "auto complete" type search and you see the results instantly.

Dictionary feels like having multiple full fledged dictionaries with you. I really like the interface also. This might be a common feature of the Sonys, but nothing like this simple one liner I'm used to in Aldiko.

I speak no German whatsoever, and have found it incredibly helpful to switch to the German - English dictionary when German phrases have been thrown into English language books.
