MR interface language changed

MR has started serving up a german language version for me on one browser (firefox 7) while it is still english in another (chromium). I checked my firefox preferences and the preferred language is still en-US, further using tamper data shows the Accept-Language header that firefox is sending to be en-us,en;q=0.5

I dont think it is a setting in my MR control panel, since if it was, chromium should be affected as well.

Ideas?

I have to admit that I was completely unaware that MR had any interface languages other than English.

Interestingly there is no german word for Karma.

I've gone foreign as well in IE8. It wasn't like that this morning and the computer has been off since.

Hmm, I think you may have accidentally clicked on the drop box to switch languages (see screenshot). You can click on it again to choose English (the default).

UA header sniffing for detecting a user's language is not something we would want to do.

Oops, actually, there is also a setting in your control panel allowing to set your personal default language. See screenshot.

Thanks, must have been the dropdown at the bottom. Unfortunately the computer I was experiencing it on no longer exists and it doesn't happen on my laptop, so I cannot verify. But thanks for the pointers, I'll know what to do in the future.
