Pottermore Shop Opening Delayed Is That Why You Can't Preorder the Black T1 With HP?

I just realized that it was October and the opening of the Pottermore Shop was within reach so I meandered over to the site. I was sad to read that it has been delayed until 2012.

Quote from the Pottermore Insider page:

"Finally, the Pottermore Shop, which will sell the Harry Potter eBooks and digital audio books, will now open in the first half of 2012, in order to allow us to focus on our first priority: opening Pottermore to as many people as possible and making the experience as good as it can be."

I wonder if that's why the Black Sony readers with the Harry Potter coupon have been pretty much removed from the various websites that were selling them.

Any thoughts on this? This is going to kill any HP special Christmas bundles many of us were hoping for.
