Square credit card software

I am using this credit card system on my Atrix and would like to fun it on my new Edge but I can not find an apk for it. I am with gingerbread on my Atrix so I can not get the apk from there, I am on ermine 2.2 with the Edge, anyone know where I can find the apk or have one to post? Have looked and could not find it.

Why not, it might be compatible with Android 2.2 anyways.

I didn't try to see if backwards compatible, just assumed that didn't work from others posts that I have seen

Also, I found it needs only 2.1 and it has extension zip, not apk

I tried that but it took me to the market, and although I got the market on my Edge, it errors with any attempted download, so I need to find the file from somewhere else.

The very last link: you enter your e-mail below QR code, hit Enter and they'll send you direct link to the app - tested and I got the app.
Only you need to open that e-mail on your device.

Thanks for the help, now I also have another good source for apks. Unfortunately this force closes each time.

Even when the reader is plugged in ( don't have one)?
Can you get logcat? (search my posts how to get one, or install aLogcat app which makes getting logcat easier).

Already deleted it so I will have to redownload it and try again. Newbie here so I will go back as I have read about logcat, just never used it. Thanks for your help.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but i was curious about this.

I have square for iphone with the free card scanner that uses the headphone jack.

If you had the apk working (before it force closed) did it scan any cards? I thought i saw a download on the market (it's calling the phone function so someone would need to open up this apk) but it looks like it's available for Android:
