If you take a brief Kobo survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LXBYSFX, Kobo will mail you a 20% off coupon for one time use. The coupons will be emailed before Oct. 3.

I got this in the mail from Kobo, btw.

I just tried save20sept892 out of curiosity, and that works as a 20% off code, too.

How come free and bargain books for the Nook can be pinned, but Kobo discounts can't?

Not able to use the DIAMOND code... Tried to buy a book, adding the code, not valid. Tried to search for the Patrick Robinson book, not present... missing something?

When we asked mods to do this, the response was that they did not pin discount codes, even though they did pin free and bargains. It didn't make sense to me then, but it might have been that tt was brand new, and maybe they thought it would not continue. Maybe they will re-visit this issue now that they can see how persistent this thread is. I will use the notify button and see if we can capture their attention

It is quite annoying that the thread can slip to page 2 and beyond when there are still active codes in the OP.

I realize that. I'm the OP. The problem is that there are a lot of people showing up here casually or even stumbling upon the forum that might be missing it.

Just out of curiosity, what books are you people buying from the Kobo store? I can't find any that don't have "promo codes disabled by the publisher for this book" when I try to enter a discount code.

All mine are Sci-Fi, specifically right now Star Wars. Attempting to complete my collection. Those last discount codes were awesome.

Romances, primarily older ones. There has been a definate increase in the number that have agency pricing.
