Need epub info, please

We are a publisher just dipping our foot into the epub waters. We have a book we've designed using Adobe InDesign CS5, with all of the proper stylesheets, but now we're stuck in the validation process. We didn't even know we had to do validation until now!

We need to know more about the errors we see in validating, as well as how to fix them. We have folks trained in design, and we need them to know how to figure out these issues as well.

The first one we tried has a time/date stamp error; says it's in the wrong order. But I don't see where we fix this issue. How do we fix such an issue? Then I tried a different file (just a piece of the product), and I get a "corrupted ZIP header" error, saying there's an error in opening the ZIP file. But when I uploaded it, I didn't ZIP it, so I'm not sure where that error is coming from.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thx
