You mean the author of the *book* is unhappy about HC using the tainted cover. We've yet to hear from the 'artist' of the second cover.

I can't add to the legalities of this, but I do feel dreadful for the author. Since the book cover in question is for the second in a series, I bought the first. Solidarity! I think this is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Space-Junque-A...4033425&sr=1-1 |

Firstly, yes, I was being sarcastic. Secondly, I found your confusion humorous. You didn't see how I gathered adultery from one, but you had no problems with my impression of a "post-apocalyptic world"?? Just for that, here's some Karma.

LOL @afa! I gotta agree with the majority...they wanted "that" cover, and couldn't get it, so threw some money around and got someone to copy it...people where like WTF?? and so they withdrew into their publishers cave to eat crow and make something else. |

As far as the post apocalyptic part, well, the spiderwick cover says "In Flagrante Apocalypto"

I agree that sarcasm is not best used in text, but I just thought that since my post was such a blatant lie (the adultery part, as well as claiming not to see any similarities) that it would be clear. Since that fell flat, let's move on...

As far as missing it, well, you do have to admit we've had some hard headed people around here lately make similarly outlandish arguments but were dead serious.
