Your Help Please - Kindle 3.1 Screensaver

Hi All, Im new to the forum and would like some assistance pls. Im trying to locating the actual path which (step by step)would allow me to view all the pre set screensavers on kindle 3.1 I have managed to track a u tube video

which shows someone auto playing through all the screensavers but wanted to do this myself. Any help would be appreciated by all. thanks for your time...Soner

i believe that's a series of stills , you can't browse through them like that. at least not like it appears to show in that video.

Thanks for your response Alansplace, but do u have any idea as to how i could go about viewing these still images as this is what im aiming to acheive.

Hi. I do not know where the path is, but if you download the src of the screensaver hack, I believe there are located the default screensaver images.

You could use the same 'trick' as the person in this video is using : Kindle3 ScreenSaver Hack .

BTW , he's sliding and releasing the power switch .
Obviously , you should turn off the K3 password .

they consist of 23 600x800 .gif files. i have them archived in a 2.45 mb zip file. is there anywhere i could upload that size file to you?

exactly. i believe that they're on another partition and to access it you'd need some tools not present on the kindle.
