Just reporting that I was able to log into Boingo wifi (the regular laptop account, not the mobile one) on the edge in MZT.
I was worried because I know from having both a Boingo and Boingo mobile account in the past that each device only uses one or the other (B or B Mobile) and so unless you want to pay for 2 accounts, you have to decide whether you'll mostly connect with a laptop or a phone. My Nokia N810, for example, appears to Boingo as a mobile device while my iPod Touch doesn't. If your device is identified as a "phone" then you cannot log in to a regular Boingo account. You must use that device's mobile app. I was sure that an Android machine would be identified as a phone, but apparently not with the edge. I was able to hit a browser and log in with my regular Boingo account. |

Sarah, you appear to have grown a beard
![]() We ought to start a thread with pictures of the eDGe taken in unusual locations e.g. tops of mountains / holidays etc. Or even something like the "Where the H**l is Matt?" videos on YouTube - viral marketing at its best Last edited by drsteve; 06-04-2010 at 06:38 AM. |
