I have a virgin mobile 3g mifi (wifi) hotspot and the eDGe works just fine with it.

My usb broadband (virginmobile) is not supported by the eDGe system, it is soley prduced for computers. However there may be a service out there that will support eDGe. I personaly prefer not to use usb because they can snap off very easily.

I bought a Huawei mifi from Telus recently and it works great with the eDGe (via wifi - didn't try a direct USB link, which probably would not work). The Novatel mifi from Bell Mobility would have worked just as well.
