Calibre 0.8.3 - FB2 covers not being written to file

In Calibre 0.8.3 neither original or custom covers are being written to the .fb2 file - I just get a default image (blue box with a question mark in it) in Calibre's eReader. Previous version worked fine.

Please open a ticket at https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre as issues reported here tend to get lost. Plus it's eaiser for relevant parties to work together on issues using the bug tracker. Please also attach an example file where your seeing this. This will help me determine if it's an issue with the output or input.

Launchpad claims to support OpenID - I have an OpenID but Launchpad want's me to sign up for an account with them - Sorry, I'm not willing to do that. I have way too many accounts now - over 150 - which I manage with a password manager that's more than 2 screens wide - get's annoying. I want to reduce accounts not create new ones! So if anyone here has an account there and wants to do a bug report feel free.

If you used Internet Explorer, try another browser. I heard that Launchpad doesn't work with that browser.
