Q Regarding Aluratek Libre Pro and SD Card

Does the libre pro come with a SD card because that's where the books get stored or does it have on board storage and the SD card is for extra?

Both. Some Libre Pro's come with an SD card and the free books are stored on it. Others don't include the card and the free books are in the internal storage. You can put your own books and music on either and move the included free books around as well.

The Aluratek Libre Pro comes with an SD card because the internal is very small. The Libre color has 2 GB internal memory and does not come with a card, which is what I think MLXXXp may be referring to, but the Libre Pro all come with cards.

All Libre Pros do not come with memory cards. It depends on where you buy the Libre. Aluratek sells them with or without a memory card. (They used to be different prices. I have not checked lately to see if they still are different) The ones that do have a card come with a 2 GB sd card.
