My favorite is Scrabble. I wish I had more time to play it.

Good to know, thank you! That sounds like a very nice feature. I'll have to look into getting that game.

I just picked up the new backgammon game ... it's cheap, graphics are good and play is easy and fairly quick. Nice to have another non-word based game for a reading break, hope they keep coming -- here's another vote for chess, or perhaps othello?

Since a number of people here have wished for a Kindle chess game, I thought you'd like to know that "Chess (A Classic Game for Kindle)" was just released! There are no customer reviews at Amazon.com yet, but you can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004KACWZW.

Try out Sudoku Unbound also. Great reviews from people on Amazon and it has an even easier way to select the numbers without using the symbol button. I also think the puzzles are better, especially if you like some of them that are hard...they have great hard puzzles.

@Solicitous I am not sure which "changes" eleReaderCastizo is referring to. It is an online game. No app to buy, just point the Kindle browser to the url. |

Hope I won't hurt sensibilities with this, but I do not want or like games on my Kindle. I think I downloaded one only and later remove. I respect the opinion or others but I think is a big distraction and defeats the main purpose of the device which is reading. I do have games on my tablets though ... |

I agree that the games can be a distraction, and there are times when I do read less because they are on my Kindle. I prefer to read in larger blocks (not just a few pages at a time), so the games are nice when I have only a few minutes. My Kindle is the only electronic game-playing device I own (other than a desktop computer). If I had a tablet, I'd have the games there and keep the Kindle "pure" with books only. |
