You are an employee of PocketBook I assume? Don't employees get paid these times? But anyhow, if you do not get any money for posting in the forum that PB states on it's official homepage as support forum, then that only proves that PB could not care less to support their customers. Is it really too much to ask to assign anybody to write here on a regular basis? |

Wellcome back mtravellerh. Nice to see you around. I still don't believe PB company has the potential to act professionally but your returning here is move in the right direction. Neglecting English forum put all the people outside of Russia and Germany last in line. And shows PB goals and level of maturity. Anyway, good to see you back here.

have anyone tests this on the PB902? If yes, how the note taking on fbreader? I am on version 2.0.6 and, although the rendering of the fbreader is far better on this version now, when I take notes, some times part of the text in the image is missing. Also, sometimes I do bookmark and when I return to the TOC and click the bookmark, it jump to the wrong page, like the page before the one bookmarked. |

I think someone should be available and paid to answer questions in the support forum, as well. | |

So... that means you get some money, right? I am really glad that you agree with me on this, but can you please DO something about it, Mr. Sales-Manager? |

Hello all, I'm trying to use this new firmware but I just can't make the fbreader run on my device. Anyway, I would like to know if this handwritten notes function means that we can use the styllus to write on the texts. Can anyone teach me how to do that, if it is at all possible? |

Hi, I did some testing of the alpha version, because annotation was one of the main reasons form to buy the 903 and not the 902. In general the implemented annotation functionality comes close to what I expected from the beginning. I like the fact that you can comment a highlighted text by just tapping on it again and write a comment. Now we need the functionality for the other viewers. The implementation is still very “alpha” in other areas. Drawing on the text: Very slow and therefore the results are not always predictable. Although I calibrated the screen and the accuracy of the pen is fine e.g. in scribble, there is a gap of pen tip and actual line of around 2-3 mm when drawing on the text. Bluetooth keyboard: I tested it with 2 different keyboards. Normal characters and numbers are fine, but no special characters like Ü, or Ä and also no e.g. punctuation. Page change for ePubs: A new bug to my understanding was introduced with the 2.1.0 version. Sometimes I am not able to change pages correctly. To get one page forward, I have to first press forward twice and backward once. In general I will keep the alpha version on my 903 because it is a step in the right direction and stability is ok. I am eagerly waiting for a next beta release. |
