Depends on what you mean by "stock." Ship it directly from their warehouses? I don't know. Allow 3rd parties to sell it? Yes. The first "classic" notorious title I could think of is sold there: http://www.amazon.com/Destiny-Blue-G...dp/1586648713/ (It is of the "tentacle rape" variety.) Edit: I see that they do directly stock and sell a series I read recently: Sundome. It is mostly more ecchi than hentai, but it can get pretty heavy in spots and, since the characters are high-school students, it fits many people's definition of child pornography. http://www.amazon.com/Sundome-1-v-KA...dp/0759528500/ Last edited by ardeegee; 05-07-2011 at 02:06 PM. |

Ha! GMTA... Google Maps turned up 778 for "Adult Entertainment Stores" in the greater Raleigh area. (And, wowzers... apparently there's 5,749 shopping options in my neck of the woods).

True. It reminds me of the quote from "The Untouchables" about where to find the booze. Sean Connery's character says something to the point of everyone knows where it is, but the point is who wants to cross Capone. Similar idea though not quite the same. Even those who claim to not have interest in porn (and I'm not saying they do but just want to seem to not have interest) probably either knows where to find it or knows someone who knows where to find it. |

What people get arrested for is having videos and photos that are exploitative because the people in them were under the age of being able to enter into contrasts and not legally able to participate in such things. Exploitation of minors is illegal not pornography of adults for adults.

Thanks for those links, ardeegee. The first supports my contention that pornography which violates community standards is illegal. |

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/...in585049.shtml A choice quote from the article: "The only explicit, hard-core sexual material that is absolutely illegal by law in the U.S. today is child pornography -- all other material must be put before a jury." Sorry, GA, but reality doesn't reflect your delusions.

The goalpost remains unmoved from that first post. ardeegee's link verifies that we are still under the "community standards" test.

So by your own logic; if it's not deemed illegal by community standards, then it must not be pornography?
