But, I very much enjoyed the Mistborn trilogy. How far into it did you get? But, not everyone likes everything. BOb

Seems as much as I really like Sci-Fi/Fantasy I haven't been reading much of it. I seem to be reading more crime/thriller/mystery stuff recently. Although I did read the last two Mistborn books in the past 3-4 months. BOb Last edited by pilotbob; 04-25-2011 at 11:15 AM.

I don't think the same holds for The Sound and the Fury though.

You might like the Fablehaven books by Brandon Mull. I've not read the newest one but they are good books. Or maybe the Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Pearson a must read if you like the Disney parks. rv

I just finished The Door to the Sky and loved it. Now I'm starting the classic 1984. It makes sense to at least read it once in my lifetime. Regards Caleb |

Plenty of other books out there. Try something lighter. Maybe it will be more fun!

I'm reading a very entertaining book called But Can You Drink the Water? byJan Hurst-Nicholson. It is weird and sweet and funny. It has been on my TBR for several months. Here's the link http://www.amazon.com/But-Can-Drink-...3751296&sr=1-1

I generally don't read Fantasy but tried it by recommendation. To be honest I don't read books with wizards, magic, or supernatural elements. And this book had all of them. Also, I wanted to try a self-published author. His writing wasn't impressive. This is normal for me. I seldom finish a book I start. I'm very picky. Some call me a snob ... at least not to my face. |
