87 F, sunny with some clouds. And it just got done raining.

(no, they did not call for the rain...then again, this is Florida.)

Only 46F here - midafternoon so that is likely the high, overcast and dreary...

Overcast but not cold. Friday and Saturday were unusually hot for the season, then yesterday, the sun chose to stay away, much like today, it seems.

Kenny, I hope your daughter's on the mend.

Now that the Cherry blossoms are all down, it's time for the bamboo shoots to appear. And they have, right on schedule. You can actually watch them grow, they grow so quickly. In some cases 12"-15" in a single day! So I'm watching them. It takes a lot of watching to make sure they grow right!

85F today and humid. We're hitting that time in NC when you walk out the door first thing in the morning and start to wilt immediately. It often feels like breathing through a wet washcloth.

Ditto here. I only open the deck door first thing in the morning to allow the cats to get their daily dose of sniffing the squirrels on the deck.
