While the option is worded that way, I still always got a prompt asking me if I wanted to install the update... in the past, anyway. But I agree, why take any chances when you can uncheck the option?

They seem to have added proxy support, which means that I'll finally be able to access my Kindle technical books from work. If this one works through our proxy, that is. Will know on Tuesday.

K4PC 1.50 breaks the DRM removing tools so stick with 1.4.1 or earlier.
