Yep.. Pretty much all I read on anymore. Have both Kindle and Nook apps on the iPad and can comfortable read for more than an hour at a time. Hanging on to the Kindle, but Nook will probable be given to my roommate to get her started on ebooks. |

I read books (as in novels) on my Sony 650 and magazines and comic books on my iPad. I think it is a nice change back and forth. I recently got a subscription to one of my favorite movie magazines through iTunes and it is so much cooler (having hotlinks throughout it as well as videos) than the print edition, not to mention half the price.

If I could buy A4 size eInk reader weighting around 0,5kg I would never buy iPad. I do read many standard PDF files so I just enjoy the easines of pinch and zoom. Web , mail etc. are just nice addons. It is still more convenient for me to use iPad and do a lot zooming than using PC or printing tons of paper. Yeah, I do bought my iPad for reading that is why I am interested in MobileRead forum posts The choice depends on what you gonna read. For novels I love to use my small K3. |

Even though the Kindle app for both devices will sync, I find myself reading different books on the devices. The retina screen for the iPhone makes reading a smaller font quite easy even with my aging eyes. | |

I read novels on my Sony reader, and PDFs, comics and manga on my iPad. I was surprised at how pleasant it is to read on the iPad; however, I still prefer the small form factor and e-ink screen on my Sony for novels and some PDFs.

I do about half of my novel reading and all my PDF and comic book reading on it. Very happy with it as a reading device.

Another iPad reader here! I started out e-book reading on my netbooks, first a regular netbbook, followed by my tablet netbook (which I still have but rarely use). Got the iPad in November and it's been my main reader ever since. I use my iPhone in a waiting room here & there, but at home, iPad is it for me.

I read on it all the time especially now that my public library allows e-book checkouts. To me, the iPad is perfect for downloading my borrowed e-books. I haven't figured out how to do this on my daughter's Kindle yet.

I have an iPad2 since last week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read magazines on it. So much better than printed ones (and environmentally friendly!), photos are shiny and crisp! No piled up magazines in my house anymore! I have two books downloaded from my library (awesome, how easy that goes) but I haven't read for more than an hour. If it will be hard on my eyes, maybe I get a Sony pocketreader later, but for now the iPad is way more fun than I thought! |

I'm reading mags and such on my iPad. Books go onto my iPod for on the go and on my Sony PRS600 if it's too sunny (reflections). |

I have a sony prs-300 and last week I buyed a iPad. For pdfs and comics the iPad is absolutely amazing. For books it's good too, but the e-ink screen is still better for text books. |
