Well this is a bit of a detour off topic but have you explored the bluetooth option for using your phone to access the net ?

Well, I used to use bluetooth while connecting PDA with my old mobile, but to be honest I don't have any clue how to set it up with PB and symbian phone now Have you ever tried it? |

Well I have used bluetooth to connect my PDA to the net through my PC, and I'll be able to do the same with the pocketbook if they finally add the option to edit the PPP connection script. From what I've seen of it while trying to locate why it won't connect to the PC properly it shouldn't be very hard with a phone that supports it, it actually seems geared towards it. It would be of great benefit other than fixing the deficiency mentioned above if they also added support for ad-hoc Wi-Fi, you can't really expect everyone to have a router or an access point at home, not to mention a cell-phone data package. Edit: On topic now, I keep forgetting to mention does anyone else run into a bug when the library app won't launch in landscape mode ? don't know what triggers it or why it stops after a while. It is Worth it to upgrade a PB902 to 2.0.5( not arabic version)? I've been reading all these horrors histories and I do not think to upgrade, I am on 2.0.4 and I am very satisfied.... Any PB902 users that have the 2.0.5 version, Any good to say? |

I have a PB902 with 2.04 and I'm still hesitating to upgrade - I don't want to lose the dictionaries and I haven't read about any great improvement.

I didn't have time to read whole thing - I just saw something about problems with Booklands the new firmware is going to fix. As long as Bookland does not interest me I didn't look for additional details. And "Ключник" said they are working on better filters by genre, authors etc. The-ebook.org forum is extremely lively, I just have no time/interest to read it in depth. I think mthraveler should be more active.

What about a decent adobe reader "fitwith"-option? Or such unimportant things like a 115% zoom-factor in adobe reader or a font size inbetween 9 and 12? Or a well ported coolreader? Or css formatting in fbreader? But nevermind, I'm not sure if I even care anymore. I hope there will be more 9'' devices on the market soon, I definitely will not buy any other PB reader and cannot recommend this company to anyone.

So did we get sucked in with 44 dictionaries that are free and 26 that are just trial versions ? If we did it might not be lying but it sure is misleading.
