Sorry, but I need help!
I´ve lost the virtual keyboard!!!
I want to write a note and the keyboard dissapear. Any letter!!!
I don´t understand why.
Another question. I´ve trying the features, but I choose sd desactived, I put a sd with books, and the reader continues reading the new books.

I hope your answers.

My reader is a 650 with spanish lenguage.

Could you make a screenshot please. PRS+ adds new keyboards, but doesn't remove existing.

With disabled scanning, reader doesn't search for files, but content of the cache xml is still read.
Delete the cache (Sony Reader folder on SD card), and no SD book will be listed.

Note that Calibre / Sony Reader Library automatically create cache.xml file.

I come back to the settings of prs original, and choose again keyboard spanish. Great!!! The keyboard come back again, but when I push the letter n, doesn´t appears ñ, only aaaaaaaaa.
And if I push a velve, like "o", doesnt appears "ó", only the same aaaaaaaa.
Perhaps it´s a bug with spanish keyboard. I don´t know.
And I don´t know how make a screenshot.

Sounds like a bug, I'll have a look.

May be, because apears too if you select another keyboard, for exemple french, and push c a moment, and doesn´t appears "ç", only aaaaaa.

I love the new installer, thanks for that.

One thing I noticed is that sorting under Browse Folders isn't quite right at times. I have "By author then title" selected under Sorting Mode. Under Christie, Agatha I have as the order:
The Murder on the Links
Evil Under the Sun
Five Little Pigs
Hercule Poirot's Christmas
Lord Edgware Dies
Murder in Mesopotamia
The Secret Adversary

If I select as the sort "By filename", it's a bit different but still off. The order is:
Evil Under the Sun
Five Little Pigs
Hercule Poirot's Christmas
Lord Edgware Dies
Murder in Mesopotamia
The Secret Adversary
The Murder on the Links

It's a bit off like that for other authors also, not all though. The sorting also seems to sometimes disregard "The" at the beginning and sometimes does use "The" as part of the sorting (or the out-of-order files were just random for those titles making it seem like "the" was not disregarded at times).

And here a "problem" within the prs-950 (not a functional but a "design" problem) - if you use the mp3-player, the corresponding sign overwrites the clock in the system-tray. The same when you change the volume. The only solution is to move the clock to another place. I don't if this is possible. And for me - it is not necessary.

It's a bit complicated. Sorting is done using a hidden field, created specifically for sorting. Some programs omit "the" some do not.
The easiest way to detect sorting problems would be when using file names.
Could you please check actual filenames of the books you've listed:

Evil Under the Sun
Five Little Pigs
Hercule Poirot's Christmas
Lord Edgware Dies
Murder in Mesopotamia
The Secret Adversary
The Murder on the Links

Yeah, in addition there is also "not enough space for the index indicator". I think volume overlapping time is ok, since it is shown only for a short period. Song icon will be moved.

Edit: I manually changed the title of "murder on the links, The - Agatha Christie_6" to
"Murder on the Links, The - Agatha Christie_6", just swapping the 2 capital letters, and the sort is now perfect if I select sort "By filename". That just seems odd, and it's still sorted incorrectly if I select "By author then title". I'll check the other instances where I noticed the sort was off and see if there's not lower case letters involved there as well.

is set by the book creator (program or human). PRS+ simply honors it.
In addition uppercase letters > all lowercase letters. (arguable rule, I admit, but it could have it's uses, especially when sorting by filename)

I wonder how is it sorted in standard "Books" menu. Should be the same as in folders when you sort by title/author.

I've never been able to get the default sort to anything that makes sense. It's probably listing the titles in the order they were added to the reader?

If I use the original Collections option, those are all listed in correct alpha order, even for the ones that are out of order in Browse Folders.

You'll never get books to appear in a "sensible" order on a PRS-x50 model by using 'See All - by Author'.

Calibre has alternative options to get what you want. If you have time on your hands there is a detailed discussion on the issue here.
