I used to have a cat that went crazy over my fathers tomato based bbq sauce. I'm going to have to see how my current kitty likes it. Interestin'... Cats and dogs do need a little veggies, about the amount a little grass will provide. Cats love catnip, but it doesn't replace catching a mouse. |

Remember several years ago when pet food was contaminated and most brands were recalled? Something toxic added to increase protein. Miss Fifi has in her bowl Science Diet Light chicken flavor. Ragdolls tend to be chubby so I have to give her lower fat food. Because I don't trust she's getting full nutrition from just SD I give you a little of a second brand currently Wellness soon to change to Pro Plan. Only eats dry food. No human food either. Fussy thing but cute. |

Edit: Oh, and the contaminant was melamine. If I remember correctly it was used as an additive to increase the protein measurement in wheat and rice proteins used as ingredients in the foods. Luckily my family's pets were already on grain-free foods at that point, I can't imagine what some people went through. Last edited by natasha_fawn; 03-12-2011 at 08:53 PM. | |

A burglar popped in last night. His arm is now in the dogs mouth in the backyard (wouldn't fit in the bowl). He really likes it. I may feed him the other arm... I kid.

I'm a St Barnard because I like carrying brandy. There is also a Welsh Springer Spaniel.
