Generate Article Description?
Hello everyone,
I like 'e-papers' generated by calibre. However, as some of you may already know, kindle 3 has some problems with Chinese font support. No problem with article description or content, but titles become unrecognizable characters. This problem cannot be solved by change locale or font hack. I wonder there might be a easy way around since Amazon is unlikely going to fix that problem. I want to insert title text into the beginning of description part so that people can read title from article description. Can anyone help me with that? Thanks. P.S. I tried my self and looked into some recipes. It turns out calibre uses the function 'parse_feeds' to parse a XML feed. However I don't have any document about description of object 'Feed'. I guess, maybe I can just modify some attribute to insert an article title into description section. Am I right? |
