I have finished the survey. I hope you get a good response and get some good information for your thesis... I did use an e-reader on the S-Bahn when I have been to Berlin on business... I loved the trains in Berlin, they were very safe to use even very late at night. |

I filled out both surveys. Became somewhat longwinded -- hope it's not too much! As with everyone else I will be interested to hear what you deduce! |

done. I did find the age categories curious - 34yo were skipped (the age groups went 30-33 then 35-40). I assume this was an error! Also the choices of profession - only design student, business student and other?

Filled in the first survey - didn't spot the second though. I hope you find the material from everyone useful and I'd be interested in seeing the results.

Interesting survey.... I am surprised you didn't mention the readers available from Bookeen and PocketBook in your list of devices. Okay they may not be World 'beaters' but they are closer to your home .... erm ... No 'over 50's allowed' |

Did it and assumed "<50" actually meant ">50". I am almost 71. You could have had more age categories. In many ways ereaders are ideal for older people, and people of my generation and older grew up without the modern dependence on TV, so we're reasonably likely to be readers.
