Troubleshooting Lent Books Not Returning?

Hi, Everyone.

I got an e-mail that one of the books I lent out had been returned, but when I went back to my Kindle, even after syncing it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Do they return to your Kindle or simply become active again in your Archives?

I've never really looked so I don't know. I'd just go to the Archives and try to download it.

I haven't lent a book yet. Maybe you have to retrieve it from the "manage my Kindle" page again?

It just gets weirder...

I checked my archive and the book was there, so I downloaded it again. Now I have the book ready to read, and I have the "on loan" notice, still on my Home page. And that's after syncing things up.

Having it show up twice is better than it not showing up at all. I just think it's strange.
