Kobo charging

Hi just wondering if the Kobo will stop charging when full even when it's used with a wall charger or car charger. And has anyone tried the duracell power box thing That plugs into you kobo and then charges it as you read?

as far as I know, as long as the red light goes out, then the charging has stopped.. Don't know if it operated on AC power after that point though, or if it runs off the battery and the charger just tops it off..

edit - Realized I didn't actually answer the original question

. a wall/car charger should work just the same as the usb charge coming from the PC; It's the kobo itself that should be stopping the charge once the battery is full.

I've used the dual read/charge option when the kobo ran out and I was in the middle of a good book! Worked perfectly, although the cord did get in the way a bit (I was reading in bed).

I tend to read a lot in bed

Get the little external LED attcached; the Kobo plugged into an external charger with a LONG USB cable and I'm all set
