A cup of Shu Pu-Erh.
The matcha wasn't powder. It looked almost identical to Gschwender's Genmaicha.

It is pure Keemun. I am really enjoying it. I like the smokey end to it. Good stuff. I have some more coming from TG. It will be interesting comparing the two.

Glad that you love the infuser. I have a feeling that you would love the Lupicia teas. My big complaint with them is that I can't taste the tea but only the infused flavor. (grins)

I've been looking at their site, but promised myself I wasn't ordering anymore tea from anywhere til I got through these samples. I will definitely keep it in mind though, as what you described is precisely what I want... more fruit, less tea!

It's very thin. And when it's hot, it is awkward to handle, though once the tea cools down to my preferred drinking temperature (which is rather cool) then it's great. That way I handle the thin glass less, and hopefully that reduces my chance of breaking it.
The site says the glass is borosilicate, which is supposed to be more durable, but my brain sees "thin" and immediately interprets as "handle like eggshells".

My already preferred and favorite tea mug is actually a very thick Irish Coffee mug that I paid all of $2.50 for at Walmart. So I think, as I said, that I might just continue to use that for actual drinking, and the new cup/set for infusing only.

Isn't it possible for you folks to write somewhat less enthousiastic and poetic about tea?
I don't like tea at all, but reading lots of these graphic tea-posts.......I don't know............it's giving me ideas of I don't know what.......and all these names.... and the special cups....infusers (?).........

I almost feel I must join this teaclub.

Edit: I'm seriously thinking about it.
