Correct. Unless you find a DRM-free book that can be converted (they exist, but there aren't that many).

So far, this one is everyone BUT Kindle.

It just drops into your library at BoB - log in, access your account/library and download.

I got an email about a week ago. This may have been because there was an .80 charge for this when I bought it from Amazon--it was not free for Canadians. I got the email because my account was charged.

Well, Ive not gotten an email so I won't feel bad about torrenting the book, since it was supposed to be free anyway. I did rightfully do the steps to preorder.

Have you bothered looking in your account?

You don't get an email. Just the book.

I just checked my bookshelf again ... it's sitting there to redownload anytime. If you did order it, yours is too (just on your bookshelf, not mine).

It's also in my library at Amazon (even though the listing for the book is now gone, as they don't have a free edition anymore, something I think they should be unable to do, as it has several consequences other than removing the book for sale, which they can do by setting a flag for availability).

Yeah, checked my account. It wasnt there. I still have my confirmation email when I preordered it too.

Then I'd email them to see what the problem is. I haven't checked other accounts, just those two, and both have it on my shelves.

Yseah, I got nothin. Its not the first time this has happened. I did it at Amazon, maybeI should juststickwith the Nookbooks. I didnt notice it was free at B&N until it was too late.

At Amazon, I had to look on the Manage My Kindle page, since the only listing for the book now isn't the one that was free. It's definitely there (for me), though.

If you don't keep a credit card on file, I know that can cause problems with pre-orders at Amazon (at B&N, you are charged when you order, so it works a bit differently, although you still have to keep one on file).
