Right now, I have to finish off cold coffee while I wait for the electricity to come back on. I'm glad I have everything on surge protectors as it keeps coming on and going off. I really miss having a gas stove.

We have an electric stove at home but a propane grill on the deck. Both of us are hikers/backpackers so we have a few backpacking stoves we can use in worse case scenarios.

Hopefully youe reader was fully charged.

That is the other part of my "OH crap a huge storm is coming" plan. Fully charge the PSP and its back up battery, the DXG, the K1, the iPod's, the batterys for the Bose headsets, and any other electric gadget I might need to get me through the possible outage. (grins)

I try to keep everything fully charged. Every Sunday, I check all the "toys" and top them off. I gave the propane stove to my son this summer, so if desperate, I have the big propane grill out back. The only problem is that it is freaking windy and cold out there.

Are you in one of these area's with bad, bad weather? On TV we're seeing these snowstorms in the US and flooding in Australia.
I do hope everything will work out with the electricity.

What teas did I have today?
Started with Keeman, then some Assam, then lots of Chinese green tea, such as Gunpowder, China Sencha x2 resteep both of them. Lapacho now

In these last years I had two ereaders that were defective, my iLiad first and I was really sad about it.( no customer service as Irex went down.).
Then I waited a few months for the new Kindle.....defective as well after a few months; again sad about it. Amazon replaced it within a week from overseas(!). That was last month.

Now for my birthday I thought " won't happen to me again..stuck without an ereader, so I asked for a 2nd Kindle and got it.

Yogurt Fruit Smoothie. It helps when one is playing tug of war with a puppy just after waking up.
