Morning coffee and still trying to wake up.

Still excited about my upcoming visit to the Adagio store in Naperville. In my cup at the moment: second cup of Mandarin Orange green tea.

Kicking myself for not grabbing the pretty glass teapot/cup set we had at the store last year...we didn't get any of those sets in this year

. But, at the time, I didn't know I was going to get hooked on drinking hot tea!

Stranded by the snowstorms! JFK is closed and all our flights were canceled. We are marooned in Miami with three more days to wait until we can fly out. Oh my!

Nothing to do but sit beside the sea and drink neon colored rum drinks with little umbrellas in them. Perhaps go back to the Keys for some more SCUBA. Life's a beach and then you dive.

Good think I have my Sony 505 and lot's of books just in case there is another snow storm. I think there are worse places to be stranded than Miami Beach. We've eaten great BBQ ribs, thick steak, Nathan's hotdogs, Sbarro's pizza, fresh oysters by the sea, and Cuban buffet. Lot's of fun!

Discovered "Bigelow's English Breakfast Tea.' Pretty good stuff despite the teabag...

It's one to remember.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that Santa brought just the toys you wished for!

See you all in a few days!

I have tried White Monkey (Chinese green tea). Similar in taste to Dragonwell. So, I do like it but need to try at least 2 more times to be sure.

The Adagio teas site has a physical store. Believe it or not, it's actually fairly close to me, too!

In my cup: stone cold pomegranate cranberry green tea...because I made it, went and sat on the couch, and promptly went to sleep!

I did not get stuck in LA due to weather although we did have to wait 30 minutes for a pilot to arrive and fly our plane. As long as you have the finances to be stuck in Miami and enjoy the extra time there it sounds like a good deal to me. There has got to be better pizza then Sbarro in the area...
