Hi all! I am having this error when I am trying to register my device in bookland
"
Activation server error
Please, try again later...

There are no one device added.
"

I've read they're changing their servers right now. You should try again tomorrow or the day aftter, when the move to the new servers is complete.

When I try to register my Pocketbook IQ 701 with BookLand.net I get Activation error with your device. My device id/serial is pre-filled in on the Add Device text input screen so I didnt need to type it in. Should I care whether or not the device registers with Bookland?

I got the same error and emailed support, this is their response:

"Hi. You need to update your IQ's firmware to latest 2.0.3 version, it would help."

The SD card I ordered is not here yet, so I haven't tried it. I am somewhat doubtful that it well though, as I have not done anything to it yet that would cause a mis-read of the serial number.

Firmware IS updated
The very first thing that I did before even calibrating the unit was to download and update the firmware. It IS at version 2.0.3. Again, I'm not seeing any special benefit to registering with Bookland - I have accounts with Amazon (Kindle), Fictionwise, and Sony (from my earlier ereader) not to mention the library and Overdrive.

I'm just curious WHY I am prompted to register at the Bookland site and then it rejects the device.
