Started reading "The Hobbit" last night again on my nook. I have the HC version but wanted something to test library ebooks with so couldn't think of anything better.

Just finished Survivor in Death yesterday. The Eve Dallas series is a kinda guilty pleasure read for me when I can get my hands on the book. Not something I'd want to have in my library, but something I do enjoy reading. The interaction between Eve and Peabody (and Eve and her computer!) is great. |

Just finished our very own M T McGuire's "Few are Chosen." It surprised me, in a good way.

That doesn't change the fact that Trudi Canavan has a really enjoyable writing style though. There aren't many books I can read late at night (because I'm usually too tired to read by then), but her books I can handle in the evening I loved The Magician's Guild just as much (going to reread them next ), but I wasn't too crazy about the Traitor Spy books (which are a sequel to Magician's Guild). | |

I just finished Lydia Bennet's Story, one of the free "Jane Austen Inspired" books from last week. It was pretty good, and nice light reading.

Was trying to read The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy but having trouble getting into it, so started a book called The Shadow Of The Wind only about 5% into it and already hooked.
