My first port.
My wife just got iPad and we found calibre while trying to get library books from OPL. I am undecided whether to get a Kindle or Sony eReader. Both have + & -. Calibre seems to remove most of the Kindle -.

Hi and welcome to Mobileread. I think you would find both Sony and Kindle good devices. I know I'm more than happy with my Kindle 2 and read a lot on it.
