Just as I thought I had the answer, the last page put paid to it all.

Did Zelda have the murderer on the stage? Or did she get it wrong?

(Well, maybe it's not who I think it is - but the feeling was rather exhilarating while it lasted - *hmm* the timing might actually work out and some other perplexing questions that were carefully (by the mystery creator that is) never asked even while she was asking about pretty much everything else )

Ach! Time zone fail for me (I thought it was tonight - oh well, probably saved myself a day of unproductive over-thinking ).

Just want to add that the story-writing was just superb. I 'd at several jokes (murdered the language, but which one? Lawl!) Very enjoyable read. May I ask who wrote it? (Was it solely Pooh or a collaboration of sorts?) The butler gimmick was very nicely done
