Really funny! I don't know what's more mortifying for the lady cashier, the fact that it made to the local newspaper, or that her breasts are only valued for £5 !

Yes, I'd like some apples, a couple of pears, and some bananas, oh and a couple of melons too please.

Reminds me of the lawsuit I read about (unsure if it was real or an urban legend - stupid enough to be real) - a man hired a lap dancer - who bounced her melons on his head during the performance. He claimed whiplash and spinal damage b/c of their size and weight - and that they were used "out of control" on him.

ah-hem I've had quite a few errors along those lines. once, at a McDonalds my blouse had come undone and when the cashier read my order back, he said "two whoppers..." yeah *sigh* |

A bit off-topic, but this reminds me of a joke: A woman went to a supermarket and the cashier rang up her shopping; one lettuce, 2 tomatos, three tins of soup and a small jar of coffee. "You must be single", he said to her. "I am", she replied, "you can tell that from my shopping?" Spoiler:

Ahh, I can see how that could be a bit embarrassing. Did you just tell them you were trying to pick up the kid behind the counter? Quote:
