If you could go back in time...

...and change ONE thing you did, would you?

I've been pondering this lately, and my answer is...no.

It would be much too difficult to choose which 'thing' to change. That realization was embarassing.

Everything that has happened in the past has helped make you into what you are today.

Now........that being said........if you don't like the way your are today, that can still be changed

depends on, if you follow a single or paralell timeline theory

if single, no - every change makes a big crash (it already causes strange effects if you "spoil" a deja vù)
if paralell damn, since once d have checked how the timeline(s) develop(s) when change is done - yes.

I would like to go back and change one thing I didn't do. I'm actually tearing up just thinking about it, and it was almost 20 years ago. It wouldn't have changed any outcomes or made really any difference for most people, but it would have meant the world to me. And now the tears come faster. Geez, haven't thought about it in a while, but it's my only regret.

Other than that, there are things I kind of wish I would have done, but they would have changed the things I did do and where I ended up, and I can't say I'd want them changed, so.....

I don't know if a 2-year old girl could do this, but I would try to love my mother for giving birth to me, and love her, when she collected me from the orphanage, where the matron had taken me into to own heart...

I never could... This 'matron' wrote repeatedly to my mother to see how I was, and my mother never answered...

Anyway.. I can't get into this..

I would like to change quite a few things, but would I? No. All the mistakes I have made in my life led me to my better 2/3s. It was all worth it.

Even better, I'd like to be able to go back and pick up life at a certain point while retaining all my knowledge up to now. And that's not even referring to lottery numbers or super bowl winners or anything

Wouldn't change a thing but would love to go back and observe. Walk around and see what things are like, see how people live, what people do.
