Oh and I'm currently reading "Vanished Smile" by R.A. Scotti on my Reader. It's about the theft of the Mona Lisa in 1911. I've read several of her books and enjoyed them thoroughly, so I've been eyeing this one for a while despite the price. It's very good |

Deliciously lost in Ulysses. Why did I wait so long to read it? But then, if I had read it earlier, I wouldn't be reading it now... I have no idea what the man is talking about, but his language is music.

Just finished Robert B Parker's first Spenser novel The Godwulf Manuscript. I have read a few Spenser novels before, but I am inspired now to read them all in order. But the second will not be released in ebook form until may 2011. Oh bother... |

But really, I love this book, you should try it again. Think of it as a kind of meditation, or listening to music. It doesn't have to make sense if it carries you, em, sell, somewhere.

The series could certainly go either way at the moment. Either resolve my reservations with the world, or generate specific contradictions that show the author hadn't thought things through. It was fun enough that I'll probably get the next one in the series sometime next year.

Nearly finished with Preston & Child's Reliquary. I really like the Pendergast series, as far as I can judge after reading only the first two. It's a shame they aren't available as ebooks. After that I'll probably start with The Banshee House by Brad McClure which is getting mixed reviews. |
