When should we start seeing 350/650 in stores

Yup that's where I got my standard sony red cover from, I ordered both my reader PRS-650 and cover from bol.com. But bol.com and Cosmox by my knowledge don't send outside of Holland.

Whilst I like thin (to fit in my handbag) I also want something rigid across the front. My handbag can be a hostile environment!!

I don't know about 350. However, I used it for my 505 with stock cover and it is the best protection I have come across. Since buying this tin box I stopped worrying about the reader at all. I sincerely hope that when I buy 650 it will fit in

Thanks Astra for the suggestion, I certainly don't mind them! To be honest, what I want doesn't seem to be out there at the moment. I want something sized for the 350 (or 300 otherwise). I like the smaller size of the 350 compared to my 505, and I'd like a case that reflects that - having one that would hold a 505/650 defeats the purpose.

The website still sell the PRS-600 (at the same price than the PRS-650, which is due "beginning of october").
I'm happy I already got mine !

Has anyone ordered a 650 from Target or Amazon? I saw that Target estimated shipment date is 2-4 weeks (they're out of stock now). Just wanted to have an idea how long this projection has been applicable for so far and when I can expect my reader to be shipped. Thanks

A friend and I just made the drive to the closest Sony Style store yesterday--about 100 miles. Store is in Santa Clara, CA. I called before we left and was assured that they had a lot of the 350s and 650s in stock--in both colors. But when we got there, they only had the 650s in red and the 350s in silver. I was thinking I wanted a black 650 but ended up with a red one and am very happy. My friend also got the red 650.

We both got the covers with lights. I really like it--the light works really well! And I love my 650! For me it's just about the perfect reader. Love the easy access of the touch screen interface and absolutely love the dictionaries. I'm coming from a nook, and I basically quit using that dictionary because it was such a hassle. I haven't tried taking notes yet--but that's not something I'd do a lot of anyway.

We also bought a 350 for my Mother in Law. We're going to load it up and then send it to her. I really like that one too--love the small form factor. I'm almost considering sending her the 650 instead!

I ordered the 350 in blue last Thursday (I think....) and the 650 in red yesterday (this I remember for sure, it's only the mid-term memory that's a problem ) from sonystyle.de and was informed this morning that the red 650 has shipped and should arrive at my house in Germany tomorrow or the day after. WOW ! If this is true, I'll get it on Thursday here. The 350 in blue is supposed to ship tomorrow, so it might also arrive on time for my husband to take both with him on his flight on Thursday. That would be nice, because if not, the next opportunity window is not before October 21st...

I wish they offered the 350 in Blue here in the USA. We only get to choose between Silver and Pink. A darker color than Silver would have been great. No way I would go with the Pink.
