got a Kindle 3 at Target
Hi everyone. Newbie here. I had purchased an Augen The Book reader at Kmart this past Saturday. But it would not keep time and it had trouble with the sd card. It was nice that it had a color screen that was back lit so you could read in low light, but not touch, wifi, sd card. But it was just buggy. Didn't like the toggle switch.

Took it back yesterday for a complete refund and went to Target and got a Kindle 3 with wifi only. Will follow the forums and see how it goes.

It kinda miffs me that Target got a shipment while people who ordered were kept waiting.

Are you sure its a Kindle 3? All the targets I've been checking with don't have them yet. Would you mind providing the target stock number off your receipt? With the stock number targets can give real time stock levels from all stores if you go into your store and ask someone nicely. If there starting to come in, they could just be sitting in a stock room and I want to get my hands on one.

The official word is that K3s were supposed to be rolling into all Targets this week via UPS.

My Target store just received the new K3 display today, and we put it out ASAP but still no sign of the sellable units.

Some people like to see and touch before they buy. Others, like me, don't live in the USA. I live close the border, so I will get a kindle from Target or Staples, whatever comes first.
