Coolest night in a long time here....in the 40's ... back up to the 80's today and supposed to continue through the three day Labor Day Weekend!

Beautiful, beautiful Colorado! Aspens turning in a few weeks, then even more beautiful!

Three days out of winter, after 9pm at night, it's 20.5C/69F (Apparent 23.7C/75F) and 90% humidity, and we've turned the ceiling fans on. Warm.

The weather mis-predictors FINALLY got one right!

It's ONLY 80 F this morning! And sunny! And breezy! And nice! Did I say nice?

All the doors & windows are open! Cat noses snuffling like bunnies on speed!

Actually, weather forecasting has become much more accurate since the advent of weather satellites, except during hurricane season. When there's a tropical storm anywhere near, all bets are off, and extended forecasts approach the accuracy of your typical horoscopes.

was overcast here on Wed...bright sun yesterday (and probably today) low to mid 80's

and it's Doughnut Day at work! Yeah!

Autumn is attempting a first appearance in NC! Humidity levels have plummeted. Temps are falling below 70 F at night. Daytime temps are topping out in the high 80's F.

But this weekend we get the remnants of Hermine! Showers - but still coolish.

Yippee!

Today should be clear and bright, with a high in the upper 70s, possibly topping out at 80. Yesterday the pool temp was 82 degrees. A little cool, but I went swimming anyway. After two quick jumps into the pool, Norton evidently decided the pool was too cool for his tastes and left me to swim alone.
