FIRST LOOK: Sony PRS 350 and jetBook MINI
I searched the video reviews to see how Sony PRS350 screen works and found this video on youtube that compare Sony PRS 350 and jetBook MINI:



It looks like jetBook mini has 5" screen and size is smaller than PRS350

The jetBook Mini is shiny! I want one. The Sony reader isn't bad either. If it really has handwriting recognition like they claim, I might consider getting one...

It looks like they were testing the 350 and somebody else slipped the Mini in to see how its speed and screen compared to the Sony.

Mini looks good.

Well Jetbooks have traditionally used a reflective LCD screen, the Mini looks no different. There are advantages to both types of technology. The LCD that Jetbook uses is very readable and page turns are incredibly fast. The only real downsides are that it looks less like real paper and its batteries are depleted more quickly than the best eInk readers like the Sony PRS-300 and the Kobo.

I thought that the original leak had said that it was eInk, but looking again I see that it said only "ebook."

BOTH look pretty snazzy. I am really drooling over the new Sony units, I think my husbands already sick of me talking about them. Funny, I tried looking for "Sony Prs-350" and "Sony prs-650" a couple of hours ago and came up with nothing.

Looks like it, since there were two minis there - yellow and black/grey. The mini refreshes fast, but the Pocket is pretty impressive for E-Ink.

Sony looks impressive, even though pink is not my favourite colour. What is wrong with the Jetbook? looks awful! Those buttons on the side... yes, it does look old, to say the least. Reminds me of a old game console, or something like that.
