How to archive on Kindle app?

I use a coupe of the e-reader apps for my iPad but I find that I use the Kindle app most frequently. I notice on the front page a section labelled as Archive but I haven't been able to figure out how to move some of the books I've already read to that section. Can someone tell me how to do this?

On the Home screen, simply select "Edit". You get a symbol to the left of each book. Tap the symbol to delete the book from your device. It can then be reloaded from the Archive (Amazon's server).

HarryT, I've looked for that edit button but it doesn't appear on theHome page of the Kindle app on my iPad. Am I looking in the right place? I'm feeling remarkably inept right now.

On the iPad, just "tap and hold" any book on the Home page. You'll get a "delete" symbol to delete it. | |

Instead of "tao and hold" (which is great if you want to delete multiple things) you can use the standard iOS method of swiping to the right to get the "delete"/"archive" button. This works in most programs to delete things like email messages, for example.
