Since the only 3G provider is AT&T who uses GSM, aren't they all international compatible? I never had a K2, so I'm not completely in the loop on those, but was the international version just a switch from Sprint to AT&T?

It appears that the white isn't offered internationally at all, at least the countries I checked. UK customers can now order from Amazon UK as opposed to Amazon US... 3G+WiFi £149.00 WiFi only £109.00 | |

But it misses the number key as included in the K1 and K2, now input number needs to use the 4-way button as shown in the picture (extracted from user guide). It is very difficult to use for the "Go to page" function. This was already a problem in the Kindle DX (you need to press the 'Sym" button to input number), and now it seems even worse. |

What is this "webkit" browser? What does that even mean? I hope the DXG is updated with all of this stuff, too...

The new Kindles look great! Amazon really stepped it up with this redesign. I still love my nook, but I can't deny how well the Kindle has evolved. |

I called CS to see if they had any information about potential PDF updates for the DXG. The CS agent did some research and came back with "This was just announced two hours ago so we have no information".

I'm not surprised. Those guys are usually scripted and they probably haven't received the new "official" Amazon spiel yet. I bet they will update the KDXG firmware though. I sure hope so as I've only had mine for 2 weeks! Although I must say it does pretty well with PDFs as is. I never had the original KDX so I cannot make any comparison with it, but the KDXG does a lot better with PDFs than the Sony Readers (I've owned the 300, 600, and 900). But the specs make the Kindle WiFi seem like it has a much more functional PDF reader.
