Unfortunately that wouldn't clarify enough because you would also need to know the number of deleted and soft-deleted posts (including the number of posts that we will delete in future until the millionth post is reached). The unique number of each post is just a consecutive number (to my knowledge at least) that includes all posts made in the public forums, in the mysterious moderators suite as well as deleted and soft-deleted posts. I think you can't calculate the unique number of the millionth post yet.

(But i'm just a green hat, not a GGH and i could be wrong. )

From the attached picture above, I know that an "access-restricted" forum indicates their post count (green circled) on the Forums page in the Miscellaneous Section and see that 1,267 posts (red circled) can be attributed to that MobileRead Reloaded! forum.

As a result, of the 10802 "offset", that means that 9535 Posts (10802-1267) can be attributed to the Moderators Section (wherever that is located). Deleted and soft-deleted posts excepted.

Isn't there a summary of the total Threads and Posts like the other forums?

Just at the time that you joined MR, there was a scandal, here in MR. Actually it was more than a scandal, it was a crime, althogh there were no charges as a matter of fact. Unluckily for the administration, the notes of the guy who was supposed to sweep everything under the carpet, happened to be disclosed. They revealed a mess of details about the inner working of the moderation business. Suite, they have a building, with individual rooms, lavishly furnished. All sort of bodily and spiritual amenities. You name it, they used to have it. You can get all the gory and unnerving details here. None of them, except few simpletons, came out clean from this story. Why do we behave like nothing happened. Simple, we have been bribed with gifts, ebooks coupons and promises of better service, a certain amount of privileges. Few of us have been made new moderators, giving to all of us the impression that those golden stairs are not that difficult to climb. Also we have a lot of fun.

If I were you and had that sort of inclination I would ask to a gentleman like pilotBob or to a real smart girl like Verencat.
