				Using iBooks on iPhone 4

Is there a way to: 1. Disable the accelerometer? 2. Customize the page turn area? Currently it is backwards of what I would like to use—I like to go forward using my left hand to tap the screen, not my right. I figured out how to do both these things with Stanza, but it appears calibre sends all my books to iBooks. The only way I can figure to get them into Stanza is to drag and drop via iTunes. And I have so many books this just isn't a viable possibility. While I am asking you iExperts these things, perhaps someone could tell me if I can use a custom sound for a text message alert. I use my text messages for work and they need to wake me up when I'm asleep. The standard ones that came with the phone just don't cut it. -Marcy |

			1. do you mean rotation lock? yes. 2. yes. this is all you can set, you can not change the sizes of the areas. it's in settings -> ibooks. |

I was able to set the page turn the way I want it. However, I still couldn't figure out the rotation lock. Could you explain how to set that as well? Thanks, Marcy | |

Press the "Home" button twice - this will bring up the list of currently running apps along the bottom of the screen. Scroll the list to the left - the rotation lock is the left-most icon. Tap it to lock the rotation; a "padlock" appears in the icon. Tap it again to unlock.

Do you find accidental rotation to be an issue? I've not found it so myself.
