Enjoy! Same here, with the Star Trek, Star Wars, geekdom bit...It's definitely a quick and easy read. They have a pretty decent book trailer too (and I'm not really a big fan of book trailers to begin with).

I also want to recommend Joe R Lansdale's novella, "On The Far Side Of The Cadillac Desert With Dead Folks." It's brilliant, and you can read it for free: http://web.archive.org/web/200208031.../stories.shtml

i never got to the trailer you speak of but i read the book this past weekend on my train ride. i liked it, a lot. it was funny and had all of the moments you'd expect in a star trek / zombie type story. i loved the quotes that get tossed around i actually found myself smiling while reading.

it was enjoyable and that's all i expect from books, i could see this as a fun movie or straight to dvd but overall i liked it and had a good time with it.

not going to go into extreme detail but i give it a

Not really a zombie book, but it does have a few zombies in it:

I managed to get PDF versions of "The Zombie Survival Guide", "World War Z", the "Monster" trilogy (Nation, Island, & Planet) , and "Plague of the Dead" (Morningstar book 1) for my PRS-350. I definitely enjoy zombie apocalypse novels, even though sometimes it feels like they're rotting my BRAIIINNNSSS!!!!

I don't suppose anybody here has "Autumn"? It used to be available for free download on the author's website, but no more; all I've been able to find is torrent downloads and I really don't trust the software required to read them - spyware, malware, etc.

Can somebody help me out here?

I just saw that Kirkman is releasing a novel in the Walking Dead world about the "rise of the governor". Part of a trilogy? Awesome.

They have it on the Kindle in the UK but it's not cheap, it's 60p more than the paperback.

BTW, the ones on the torrent sites will be the older self-published version. The new big-publisher version has been lightly re-written and had some of the spelling mistakes fixed.

the author has been putting his episodes up for free to download, there are supposed to be 20 in the first book.

you can even purchase the first book on smashwords for 99 cents right now.
you can view the info in that thread, i've read a few of the episodes so far and like it.

My pants feel tight. And, I'm not wearing pants. Not sure what to make of that.

I would imagine that another one of the trilogy would be how the *SPOILERS FOR THE COMIC SERIES* Alexandria Safe Zone came to be. Possibly how the cannibal hunters got to where they were.

Looks like it was here all along, but best be quick because it really shouldn't be.

I wonder if Amazon would price-match it?

In addition to what someone else mentioned - Jonathan Maberry's 'Patient Zero', his other new one, which is going to be a series, is 'Rot and Ruin'. Another zombie apocalypse sort geared for young adult (and up) - I really enjoyed the new spin and the morality element of hunting these things.
