wifi not working with 4.4 fw for touch 622

Hi there
my pb 622, with the latest firmare 4.4, ends the wifi connection with a "disconnected by the by user" message each time I try to connect, living me disconnected

anyone experimented such behaviour and, more interesting, has got a solution?

Hi Paolog,
in my case it won't connect to my home WiFi at all.
Even my television did that w/o problems!
Have to check the next days, have the pocket since 2 days :-)

la situazione sembra risolta eliminando il file system/config/network.cfg

(il path completo è mnt/ext1/system/config/network.cfg)

non so se funziona anche con la versione 430 od occorre la versione 443:

cmq un utente (con la 444, che è la versione russa della 443) segnala anche problemi nell'apertura dei file txt, fb2 e doc

anyway an user (with the 444 versione, the russian one) report problem opening file txt, fb2 e doc.

I've tested the deletion of network.cfg (I've the 443 ver.) and it works, so no need to do a factory reset

hi Dews

connect the reader to the pc (with windows I assume)
then make readable the system/hidden (I mean the type of folder) files/directory in explorer so you can get to system/config/network.cfg (I mean the path);

you shouldn't see the full path with /mnt/ext1/ (I'm not sure because I haven't a windows pc by hand) but only something like a_drive_letter:\system or a_drive_letter:\ext1\system

then you can delete network.cfg



if you understand linux command, then use a pc with it or simply copy a teminal app (see below) to the 'application' folder on the reader or on the sdcard, it will show up on 'application' menu press

hello all,
I did set IP and DHCP server manually which works now (did work yesterday :-)!)
Have to say, taht I don't use the wifi very often, I usually connect w/ a PC and download from there. Even the firmware update did work perfectly that way.

I did IT the Linux way - it 's nice Tor habe a Terminal running in a reader
Now also the Dropbox App works fine!
