Is it possible to still root the device with 3.5.0 installed, or have Kobo closed the hole? Thanks! |

Noo.... I'm not sure I'd ever mentioned it here, so please... don't worry.

Am I missing a setting or is there no slider anymore with newer firmware to navigate through your Library, either by Books or by Collections? Having to flip through 100+ pages one by one is too tedious, so I can't believe it's an intentional design choice.

There isn't a slider, but if you tap the page number in the top right corner, you can enter the page to go to.

Thanks for that tip, didn't know about that one. That at least makes it livable without the slider.

Now, if it said Page: 1 of 184 - with the colon and the italicized numbers - that would be a bit more obvious. Even so, that field's between two Very Obvious triple-line menu icons and is neither part of the shaded bar (as the other selectors are) nor accompanied by a down-caret (as the list name is), all of which combines to downplay the number's tappability. In short, it's the only tappable element on the screen that is not accompanied by some other indicator that it is tappable, and "these two letters are in italics" is a very weak indicator for that status. At least, in my opinion. | |

Neither my aura hd nor my touch have updated to 3.5. Can anyone tell me why not?
