According to an email I was sent, Tor.com have discounts on 3 Nebula Award nominees until 30th April:

Lara Elena Donnelly: Amberlough
Annalee Newitz: Autonomous
Kari Maaren: Weave a Circle Round

They are supposed to be discounted to $2.99 at the usual places (Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, Google Play and Nook), but a quick check didn't show any discounted prices (this may have something to do with visiting from the UK).

Worth checking tomorrow.

Kobo has them in the US and Canada for $2.99 (a bargain for me since $2.99 Cdn translates to about $2.33 US). I opened the Kobo links from Tor's newsletter and bounced to the Canadian website so that may have made a difference. The 3X superpoints helps as well.

Pardon me, but according to the rules of the forum, you shouldn't be posting self-published works that you haven't read and enjoyed. Hard to validate a Twitter endorsement.

I started reading it but got distracted - it's an OK read. At some point I'll go back to it when I have more free time.

Could this be our first review? If so, it's in the wrong forum! No spoilers though.

No, because I'll write and post a review when I finish it. (My reviews are over at the Gaming Tavern and LibraryThing.)

Thanks for that. I love Clarke and Baxter, but the premise of the story (cameras that could be tuned in to anywhere) didn't sound interesting to me. Maybe because my expectations were so low on starting the book, it surprised me and I absolutely loved it. And Clarke and Baxter made a fine team.

I'm glad I now own it digitally. I will re-read it in the future.

Oddjobs 2 is an amusing read, though one might want to read the first. I enjoyed both of them immensely.

I got the first - it was an OK read, but won't bother with the second. This series seems to be parodying The Laundry Files, and I prefer Stross as an author.
